After 1 year in Tianjin,China, I'm currently preparing my departure to San Francisco!
Why I have choose SF?
FIrst I really want to improve my English, I have progress in China but there is no secret, I have to go to an english language country. I hope this experience will make me bi-lingual. Secondly, America is a country which fascinate me and I want to see this with my eyes, to discover the American culture, which will be perhaps different than the stereotype I imagine.
Moreover San Francisco seem to be a very original city, with an interesting melting pot . I also want to start some activities like surf, that I want to discover, doing again some diving and also do some King Salmon fishing(private joke).
I haven't yet took the time to think about this travel. I have done the necessary to go there: obtain my visa and buy my plane ticket. I haven't got many free time because of my two jobs. I have choose Air France as airplane company, not because of their no-competitive prices but because of my 2 friends, Stephane and Fabien has already bought their tickets. We will arrived on the 31th October for Halloween, which is the biggest party in San Francisco after the Gay Pride! US Airways offer competitive price with SUPINFO advantages but I have to stop to Philadelphia and to arrive in the evening to San Francisco, that's why I chose Air France.
Today I really don't regret my choice. Everybody I meet and with whom I speak about this travel says me many good things about San Francisco and I'm very impatient to be there. This choice has not been everytime easy. It's in in February 2009 that I have to chose, whereas I just arrived in China. I had the blues and for several reasons I took the time to hesitate. My desire of discover take over this feeling very fast.
I haven't seen all the people that I wanted to see during this 4 months in France, as many people knows, because of a personal problem. For those that I haven't seen, I'm sorry and I hope we will meet in 1 year or better, in San Francisco.
It will be a pleasure for me to receive people who want to meet me. However, I don't think that I will have a flat of 160m² like in China, but may be a room of 16m² in a flat with no French roommates. Indeed, I want to speak english as much as possible.
